Playing on the road

A poem written for Orit Shimoni during her performance
on a Lazy Sunday Afternoon session @ Floralia Park

While you live on the road
Following your heart to wherever it’s called
Your love lingers in every place
In every heart you’ve touched
Your voice will forever join
The voices of those who loved
Who lived
And decided it was all worth it

Living from a suitcase
Is not as bad as it sounds
It is a way of life
A way of spreading love
Through a life full of faces
Known and unknown
Filling lives with magic from within

A piece of you
Left everywhere you go….
